The Ernst Jandl Show

 

An exhibition of the Wien Museum and the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for the History and Theory of Biography in cooperation with the Austrian National Library.
The Ernst Jandl Show, an exhibition to mark the tenth anniversary of the poet’s death, ran from 4 November 2010 -13 February 2011 in the Wien Museum, then in the Literaturhaus in Munich (4 March - 1 May 2011) and the Literaturhaus in Berlin (14 May - 17 July 2007). The aim of the exhibition was to present the many voices of Ernst Jandl (1925-2000), who became particularly renowned for his sound poems. On display were audio and film recordings, photos, personal documents, letters, manuscripts, and numerous unpublished texts by the artist.
